Reversine is a cell-permeable, potent, and selective human A adenosine receptor antagonist (K= 0.66M) and an aurora kinase inhibitor (IC of 30-550 nM for blast colony formation assay). Induces dedifferentiation in murine C2C12 myoblasts. Thye cells were also shown to regain multipluripotency following removal of the compound.
